Common questions
Is Solwezi Connect free?
Yes. Posting, applying, messaging and listing are free. Later there may be paid extras like featuring a listing, but the basics stay free.
Does Solwezi Connect handle payments?
No. You and the other person agree the price and pay each other directly. Nothing is paid through the app, and we never ask for money on someone else’s behalf.
What does "verified" mean?
Phone verified means the number was confirmed by code. ID verified means a person at Ginger Tec saw an identity document matching the profile name. Neither is a background check or a guarantee.
Someone asked me to pay a deposit first. Is that normal?
Be careful. Never pay for a property you have not visited or a vehicle you have not seen. Report the listing and we will look at it.
How do I delete my account?
Message us here or on WhatsApp from the phone number on the account. We remove your profile and listings and keep only what the law requires.
Where is Solwezi Connect available?
Solwezi District today. The system is built to add other towns; tell us where you would like it next.
